We just had our wedding here, and all we can describe it as is perfect! Minnie and the team were incredible at taking care of us and made us feel like family. Nothing was too much trouble and they made everything so special. We’ve also stayed here in the past as well as over our wedding, and every single time the food, drinks, service and rooms have been fantastic. Perfect for big events or just a special night away. Thank you Haselbury!!!

Absolutely lovely setting with impeccable service. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is delicious and bars well stocked. The staff are exemplary, sociable and incredibly hospitable. The grounds are amazing if you have time to wander. A wedding here I’m sure would be terrific!

We ate at the "restaurant", with its rustic tables and eclectic chairs. The menu is unassuming and gives no clue to the thrilling flavours of the dishes on offer. We thoroughly enjoyed onion soup, sausage and mash and a burger. All of it was very good quality and extremely tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. The surroundings offer something for everyone of intrigue. Vintage vehicles, trains and cider sheds to name a few.

Very quirky place.. there is a wealth of classic cars and other vehicles to see. The location is beautiful, with plenty of grounds to walk around and let the dog off the lead. Reg, the dog, was able to join me in the pub restaurant on site, and for breakfast. Lovely outdoor area with heated sheds. There is also an old stone barn that is used for large events. There was one happening the night I stayed and I couldn't hear a thing in my room. Clean, comfortable bedroom and good coffee/biscuit selection provided along with bottled water.

We've been before and love a yearly treat of eating at the lakeside restaurant. The food is always amazing. Our last trip we left a bit deflated. It wasn't the usual quiet intimate experience. It was more like a loud noisey pub, which is OK if we had gone to a pub for dinner. We paid a lot of money for our delicious 3 course dinner but struggled to hear each other talk over the noise from another table which weren't even there for food and just sat playing card games and silly drunken antics. Shame the usual atmosphere of this stunning venue isn't the same.
